Teens Get 22 Years for Murdering Boy Over Unpaid HUF 5,000 Debt

The Debrecen Court of Appeals yesterday sentenced a 16-year-old boy to 13 years in confinement and issued a sentence of nearly nine years to his 14-year-old accomplice after convicting them of murder. The two killed a 16-year-old boy in Hajdúnánás last year. The victim owed Ft 5,000 to one of them and had threatened to kill them. [HATC]
