Last week several readers alerted us to this interesting story featuring some surprisingly pro-pot talk from newly-reinstalled Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who thinks laws against smoking weed are too tough and that the government should chill a bit. Unfortunately, Fico’s sentiment isn’t shared by his counterparts here in Hungary, who seem to be hell-bent on hassling Hungarian hemp-heads. And, as it turns out, harshing on Slovak stoners: Earlier this week, the Hungarian authorities nabbed 46 sweet kilos of the stuff in a bus apparently headed to Slovakia (left). Sorry, dudes! Someone should take that pile of crap into the airport’s mechanical room, light it all up and let the a/c vents effectively blow the smoke all around the place. Let the tourists FINALLY have some fun in Hungary!
