Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor, Your Huddled Masses Yearning To Have Their Racial Affiliation Kept in a Database of Other Criminal Immigrants

Most Hungarians believe that Hungary is a very attractive destination for immigrants, according to a poll conducted by Tárki last year. Some 58% of respondents believe that a foreign ethnic group will settle in Hungary in large numbers in the future. Of them 52% anticipate an influx of Chinese, 29% of Jews and Israelis, 25% expects Arabs, 19% expect Africans to move here and 11% Slovaks… The idea of keeping immigrants under close surveillance was favoured by 63% of respondents, and 59% agreed that there should be a database in which the racial affiliation of perpetrators is recorded.

And here is what people were saying back before we forced readers to use Facebook to comment. Weren't those the days?
  1. wolfi says:

And how many expect the Piréz to come in even larger numbers ?

  2. " B i i r Or B e e a ? " Jackson says:

In recent weeks, I have been hearing that Indians and South Africans (whites) have been asking for residency permits by the thousands. Now aren’t those going to be strange Hungarian dialects…

  3. Scott says:

I doubt any ethnic groups will settle down en masse in Hungary any time soon…but maybe the country will see an influx of disaster tourists, depression junkies, taxophiles, moneyphobes, and extreme masochists. They can take up the space left behind by the Chinese LEAVING the country for sunnier climes such as Belarus and North Korea.
