A would-be burglar got stuck in a chimney in Ózd last weekend and had to spend several hours there before he was rescued by firefighters.
Police said the man had tried to break into a pub through a back door and when he didn’t succeed, he climbed up the roof and tried entering the building through the chimney. His calls for help were finally heard by an employee of the pub who opened it in the morning.
The man denies he was trying to break into the building and claims he was looking for his football on the roof. [origo.hu]
