Mean Mangalica Takes a Bite Out of Farmer

mean-mangalica.jpgIn the ongoing battle between pigs and pig farmers, chalk up a victory for the pigs, as a 150 kg porker recently killed a man in Zala County after biting him in the calf thigh. The murderous mangalica managed to chomp into an artery, and the man died from blood loss. Tests will be conducted to see if the pig had rabies, but either way it will be put down, and will not end up in a supermarket near you, unless you shop at Lidl, in which case we offer no guarantees. That pig, I’m guessing stock photo, looks too cute!

  2. Koermendi says:

    In the calf?

“A 35 éves, háromgyermekes állatgondozót a combján, verőérnél
    érte az állat harapása.”

    Thigh, maybe?

Any big arterial branch might do, particularly with a complex (hog-
tooth) laceration, but the femoral seems more likely than something
    below the knee.

  3. Zoltan says:

    Koermendi, you would be correct.

  4. "Avid Hunter" Jackson says:

As an avid hunter, I can tell you a few stories about both wild and farm swine. Pigs kill more humans than all other wild animals combined. A Sow will fight to the death to protect her offspring. A Boar is usually as detrimental as a pregnant Sow or a Sow with piglets. Once you are hurt and fall to the ground, you will be lucky to escape alive. There have been many people eaten entirely by wild boars, but they usually enjoy snacking on softer portions of your body such as your schlong and nuts, intestines, face and internal organs. (No use working too hard for a meal, eh?) So the next time you are in the forest, make sure to wear your tennis shoes.
