BKV Curious as to Why You’d Rather Give Them the Finger Than Your Money

blicceles.jpg

Perhaps because the BKV genuinely would like to know why so many people are unwilling to pay to use their services and ride without tickets (bliccelni), they’ve launched an online poll, which to their credit, at least gives options that acknowledge the massive hate the company has managed to generate against itself over the years. Still, we’re not sure what’s funnier, that the company is resorting to this, or some of the sentences produced by the Google translator. Give ‘em a piece of your mind either in Hungarian or in Engrish.

    Nagy bukta BKV :D

Considering how many people in BP can translate Hungarian into English I never understand why BKV doesn’t seem to want to employ one of them, especially with regards to their public information signs (the ‘push button gives light’ signs on the Combinos are my particular favorite.

PiP, the screengrab was done with help from Google translator, but I cringe to think what it would look like if the BKV ever tried to expand the English version of their site.

Ahhh, the joys of google fordito :D

Another favorite of mine was the information announcement during the M2 line renovations a few years ago. “Please console the information boards for more details”.

There there information board, I know life must be hard for you…
