Aren’t Hungarian Vampires Just FABULOUS?

vampire1.jpg

In one of those strange coincidences that really does make you wonder if our lives aren’t governed by hidden supernatural forces, the same damn week that boy-toy Hollywood vampire Robert Pattinson was in Budapest we discover that a local hotel has redecorated two of its suites in “vampire” style, complete with “excellent pieces of the super baroque elegance.”

Making the whole thing even more fab/fey is the fact that it’s inspired by the musical Dance of the Vampires (Vámpírok Bálja), which was a big hit here in Hungary. The hotel is offering package deals including lots of extras, though sadly no transsexuals from Transylvania. And if you think we’re being homophobic or critical here, tell it to the hand, because as soon as we’re done posting this we’re going to pick up the phone and make a reservation. Oh God! What the hell type of rooms are those? I’d take a holiday inn room with big screen tv any day. Man! Who decorated those rooms??? Looks like the Bronx circa 1972. I bet the Miskolc-Tapolca Viz in a bottle is at least 800ft out of the mini bar.
