Parking on the street is set to become free in Budapest this summer. Following a decision by the Constitutional Court that the current laws are unconstitutional (three guesses as to who may have received some questionable parking tickets), parliament did not address the matter in its final session before elections this June, meaning that the newly elected parliament that will take office in May will have to deal with it.
Since the new parliament will likely be Fidesz dominated, it may very well wish to stick it to Gábor Demszky in his final months in power, although as index.hu pointed out, its unlikely that a new law will be in place by June even if they aren’t delaying it just to annoy the Budapest mayor. Therefore, not only did the snow bring Christmas in February for cheapskates, but it looks like Christmas will arrive in June for them as well, unless Steven Spielberg decides to fuck it all up again.

So it means I don’t have to pay my parking fines?
Real question.
