
Well it’s not quite an “official” trend – we’d need three examples for that – but in just the last 24 hours our “Google alert” web sniffing gizmo came back and dumped in our inbox two separate indications that Hungarian dogs are worth their weight in gold, or at least in dog food. First, Hungary’s own Vizsla seemed to do very well at this year’s fancypants Westminster Dog Show in New York, and the top-ranked bitch was named… Diamondmines 24 Caret Gold (above, with entourage). Second, some online market research firm is putting out the word that it has a new report on the pet food and pet care products in Hungary (below) for $1,300. Anyone who can come up with example #3 gets a free one-week obedience class.
