Margit Bridge Renovations Expected to be Completed During Your Lifetime

margit-hid-construction.jpgWe were hardly surprised when it was reported that work on the Margit Bridge would turn out to be more expensive than originally expected, so we can hardly feign shock at reports surfacing today that renovations on the bridge will also take longer than initially predicted. Originally planned to be opened to traffic on August 21st this year, the bridge will now reopen to traffic sometime in the fall, with all renovations to be completed by spring of next year. The recent cold snap has been blamed for the current delays, with hot weather, rain and other unpredictable weather elements reserved for excuses in the future. [index.hu]
