Caring Nation Breathes Sigh of Relief as Homeless Wretch Found Frozen Solid in Shopping Mall Parking Lot

A body found in the shrubs bordering the parking lot of Budapet's Lurdy Ház shopping center last week has been identified as belonging to a homeless person. Despite earlier concerns, the 62-year-old man was not murdered, but simply died from being out in the bitter cold for too long. So no problem! [stop.hu]

@Minnie: That was the point - once it was established that he wasn't killed, no one cared - even though the Hungarian state has gone bankrupt supposedly spending money to help people who can't help themselves.

Reminds me of the time 2 yrs ago when a homeless guy lay dead on the concourse at Árpád híd metro station for two days until discovered (it wasn't reported in th media). This city can be truly grim sometimes...

I am surprised this does not happen more often with people sleeping rough; all wrapped up can't tell if sleeping or worse.
