Authorities Concerned About Growing Availability of Cocaine in Hungary. Cool!

eyeondrugs.gifFirst the bad news: Hungarian customs agents nabbed 13 kilos of near-pure Bolivian marching powder over the weekend, and say their haul seems to be doubling every year. Now the good news: The same narcs think they are only seeing the tip of the snowberg, and that the bust is a sign that there is more and more gak making its way to us. The cops apparently think these 13 keys have a street value of Ft 36 million, which sounds like a lot until you realize that it is just €10 a gram, and which would be the best news of all if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s sitting in some police evidence locker, rather than dripping down the back of our throats. Still: hopeful! [caboodle.hu]

Is this possibly the wrongest article on Pestiside this year?

  2. Not sure what to... says:

Is cocaine the new marijuana? I don’t remember ever reading an article (at least not ‘mainstream’) that condones the consumption of cocaine, or treats at as a ‘cool’ drug. But maybe it’s just me. Perhaps I’m getting old, too conservative, or the author/editor are a wee bit too open about their own drug use (oh, or I may be losing my sense of humour).

  3. Benny the dwarf - small but perfectly formed says:

Indeed, Cocaine has been a very very fashionable
drug for some time now! For my part, I regularly
sprinkle it on your cornflakes to get the day off on
    the right foot.

  4. fidel furious says:

WHOAAA 10 € a gram and id consider moving to Hungary again!
