Thieves Generally Unsuccesful in Acquiring Payback-Free Loans

The nation's ATM machines are under siege again, as there have been at least five incidents this past month where people have tried to use them to obtain 0% interest, 0% payback loans, with such attempts resulting in an "approval" rate of 20%. According to Blikk, who got the word from MTI, several unidentified perpetrators outdid these guys and used a truck to tear an ATM out of the wall in Dunavecse on November 5th, but they didn't get far before police gave chase. Subsequently the rope attached to the machine broke and the would-be thieves had to leave it behind. A day later, some more successful thieves managed to make off with an ATM in Dunaújváros using a similar method. But that's not all...
Even more recently, Kaposvár was witness to two attacks on ATMs, index.hu reports, where over the previous weekend, someone succeeded in damaging the machines but came up short when it came to actually getting any money.
And in an unrelated incident (as far as we know), some criminals used a stolen truck to steal an ATM in Győrszentiván, index.hu also reported. After they managed to rip the machine out of the wall, they made their getaway before ever so inconveniently driving into a ditch, after which they escaped on foot, leaving the ATM machine behind. Well, we suppose they at least deserve points for getting the machine out of the wall.
