Longtime readers with good memories may remember an early (April 2005) report we did on a survey showing Hungarians to be hidebound, boring and violent. Well, five years and about five thousand similar studies later, the Hungarians are, if anything, even more miserable, being slaves to conventional thinking, mistrustful of their institutions and fellow citizens, resentful, consumed by a sense of entitlement.
