Future Hungarian National Football Team More Exciting than Current One

koman.jpgAs much as we’d like to write about how well the national football team is doing, there’s no way to spin a 3-0 loss to Portugal other than to admit we had our asses handed to us. Fortunately, however, Hungary’s under-20 team beat Italy 3-2 on Friday to set up a date with Ghana later today at 16:30. This is the first time the Hungarians have made it into the final four of the tournament, after winning the bronze at last year’s U19 tournament. The loss of midfielder Vladimir Koman (pictured) due to two yellow cards in consecutive matches will be something to overcome, but hey, at least the future of Hungarian football looks a lot brighter than its present.
