Whiskey Robber Increasingly Likely to Attend Film Premier of his Life Story

whiskey_robber.jpgPlans for a film about Attila Ambrus, the infamous Whiskey Robber, keep being derailed. According to stop.hu, fans waiting to see the story of Hungary’s quasi-but-not-really Robin Hood will have to wait a bit longer, as it would appear the film’s director György Dobray has learned a few lessons from the man who stole from the banks and gave to the casinos and hookers. Dobray told the news portal that he plans on filming some scenes on location in Bali and the Seychelles, because apparently Ambrus made it there once upon a time, and hell, Dobray’s got a budget to spend! Ambrus looks to be released in 2012, which will probably be years before a biopic film about him is ever released. Until then, there’s always “A Kis Vuk”!
