The Equal Treatment Authority has fined the annoyingly popular Buda pub/club Jam Pub Ft 500,000 (€2,000) for refusing to admit Roma way back in February 2007, reports nol.hu. Bouncers refused to let five young Roma in, among them a musician who had previously performed concerts at the club. The youngsters said they had been told they could not enter because they did not have VIP cards and were too young, while other people their age or younger were being allowed in and other Roma were being rejected. The club, usually filled with the kind of “elite” crowd that makes even itself uncomfortable, said the event was exclusive and only those who possessed VIP cards could enter that night, a claim rubbished by the authority. Yay!

I am here in Hungary bcos Universities from Hungary go over the world advertising Hungary as a warm, tolerant and friendly place.It’s in the EU for goodness sake…..ofcourse, I had no idea places like Club Rio existed….btw I have reported that Club to the EU commission on racism.
With regards to me extorting money from Hungarians…..I study here and every year my parents send over 25,000usd….thats the same for my friends. Considering that my Professors at school dont earn this much…..I dont c how myself and my friends can be a detriment to ur economy.
My advise to Godot and ppl like him at Club Rio is to get smart, and look at ppl as assets regardless of race,creed or shape…thats what countries like the US,Canada, Ireland and Sweden do….and is why the best of Hungary is leaving 4 these places
