Face of Friend of Guy Who Designed Ft 200 Bill Ends Up on Ft 200 Bill

Nationalist but not-quite-as-sinister-as-Kuruc.info portal Szentkorona.hu is shocked to discover that the face on the Ft 200 banknote is not a likeness of 14th century ruler Károly Róbert but of Ferenc Koltai, some dude from a company that worked on the 1998 currency update. Károly Vagyóczky, who designed Hungary's greenest money, denied any funny business and said Koltai was chosen simply because he had a "good head for money" - literally rather than figuratively. Although it can't be denied that as head of Jura Trade Kft., the company that came up with digital watermarks and other security patents used the world over, Koltai is clearly pretty darn good with money.
As for the nitty gritty of the controversy, it turned out that the facial features of the Hungarian king are barely documented, so just about any bearded face would do. According to the typically suspicious portal, however, the king was most likely chosen for the banknote because he had no face (apart from the one to the loft of the above montage), allowing the companies tasked with creating the money to immortalize themselves by putting their own likenesses on the currency. Conspiracy theories aside, if the portal hadn't pointed it out, who'd have guessed that the king of Jura Trade Kft. was a pretender to the crown?
Accurate likeness or not, this guy is the coolest-looking of all the faces on the Hungarian notes. He looks a smart, canny ruler who would not hesitate to be ruthless if he felt it necessary. All of which Károly Róbert was. Hungary was a major power when he ran the show.
