Quiz Show Host Admits to Rigging Results
In "it should be shocking but really isn't" news comes word that István Vágó, (right), host of the Hungarian version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," recently admitted in an interview with Playboy that he helps or hurts a contestants chances on the program depending on how worthy they are of being in his presence, tabloid of record Blikk reports. Okay, Vágó actually said he hurts or helps contestants based off how much their presence can result in a more enjoyable viewing experience, but you know what he's really getting at. Vágó added that if he helped a contestant along, he would later let them drop back to the amount they reached on their own, to correct for his actions, thus making everything A-okay. Of course, this raises the question of how real the entire game show is then, but it also reminds us that it could be far, far worse.
