Upskirt Enthusiasts Await Museum of Fine Arts' Underground Expansion
Local upskirt enthusiasts, as in people who like to look up unsuspecting women's skirts, are no doubt looking forward to the planned expansion of Budapest's Museum of Fine Arts (Szépművészeti Múzeum). The reason, according to a preview of the plans over at index.hu, is that the museum will expand beneath Heroes' Square, and to be greener, it will include lots of ceiling windows which will be part of the square itself, meaning unsuspecting people might be giving those below ground a more exciting view than they would normally receive. Granted, architect Tamás Karácsony may have taken this into consideration when he designed the place and included plans to minimize or outright prevent the occurrence of it. However, when and if the renovation is completed by 2010 as planned, and you go downstairs and find a group of giggling schoolboys enamored by something other than the works of art on the walls, you'll know why.
