In case our previous post left the impression that Central European University isn't a serious place, note that there will be a reaaaaaaaly serious talk this afternoon at 17:30 at CEU by local author Adam LeBor, who recently published a book about genocide and the United Nations. Meanwhile, to indicate that "Soros U" is serious about promoting intellectual diversity, note that in his book Adam really tears the UN a new one, to the extent that it's been celebrated among the sort of Bush-Cheney Death Junta-loving neocons that folks at CEU normally love to hate on.
