Hungarian Poptart Expanding Horizons in Terms of Anthems to Forget Mid-Song
It would appear that Linda Király, the "Britney Spears of the Carpathians," (although the "Christina Aguilera of the Carpathians" might be better ever since Britney went entirely batshit crazy), is in the news again. Celeb/women's site Velvet.hu has a "mildly unbelievable" article that the Hungarian-American singer has become a huge success in the States, even though her debut album is only going to be released in a few months' time. According to the piece, what people like about her is that she sounds like a black woman, but is actually a blonde white girl. Ignoring the obvious underlying racial connotations going on there, the article adds that she's been in a relationship for over six years with someone "in the business," which contradicts the reports we received nearly three years ago, no doubt meant to make her more attractive, as in "available." Of course, if Linda wants to really become a household name in America as she sort of is in Hungary, we recommend she go to some sporting event with national prominence, and then forget the national anthem halfway through like she did over here, (cringe-inducing video goodness here). After all, that brought her way more fame than that annoying Big Brother opening theme ever could have.
