Dinner with Clinton in Budapest to Cost Ft 1 Million; Your Tip About His Hound-dogging Ft 10,000
Less than 16 months after Budapest opened wide for a big face full of Bush, yet another American president is expected to grace the Hungarian capital with his presence. From various reliable sources we hear that ex-POTUS Bill Clinton will be in town on Oct. 6, for one of those pay-a-bundle-and-meet-a-legend dinners that big-time former pols throw in order to keep their wallets thick. The price for dinner and a pic with the ex-Leader of the Free World is said to be a cool Ft 1 million (€4,000), while some hotel grub without the traditional "grin-and-grab" snapshot is just Ft 900,000. But what we're really curious about is the other form of grin-and-grab that seems to be a tradition with The Man from Hope.
Seriously. Even though BC has no doubt been firmly instructed by you-know-who not to be caught with his pants down, it's pretty hard to imagine that this particular old dog won't use a little-noticed side-trip to a fleshpot like Budapest to get up to some new tricks.
Which brings us to that Ft 10,000, which is what we are willing to pay for any reliable first- or second-hand local Clinton canoodling-related tittle-tattle. (Send all tips to the email address on the top of this page, under the subject header Attn: Clinton Budapest Sex Sweepstakes '07.) Meanwhile, if it's really first-hand, and involves a picture of "Slick Willy" and his willy, we might be willing to go as high as Ft 1 million (we can probably make it back several times over in re-sales) - especially if you are one of the suckers who ends up paying the price of a decent used car just for dinner and a snapshot with a not-so-decent used politician.
UPDATE: Okay, enough teasing.
4000Euro to turn over the property rights for photos/story/eveything on the story of the year easily worth 100,000Euro++++ AND get to be exposed as next Monica.
Sounds like a great deal to me.
Is Pestiside going native in it's idea of equitable compensation or has it run up too much debt researching the Burger Wars?
Kurt: Actually since it's F 1 million in *cash*, and taxes in Hungary are 50%, it's more like 8,000 EUR, which at the current EUR/USD exchange rate is more than 11 large, which is probably more than Monica made on her story, if you take into account lawyer's fees, etc. Anyway, isn't it the thought that counts?
