Latest Hungarian Medical Invention May Reduce Sneezing, Guaranteed to Increase Laughing
In the latest example of Hungarian technical ingenuity to leave us nearly speechless with admiration and sniggering disbelief, one László Vajai has invented what may be the world's first commercially-produced in-nose anti-allergy filter. The product, called "Allergofilter", works by trapping allergy-causing particles before they get into the user's sinuses, and can even be effective in combating snoring and the negative effects of non-allergy-causing airborne contaminants. And they are as simple to use as they are allegedly effective. All you need to do is shove a pair up your schnozz and, when you are done, give it a healthy honk to shoot them out.
And if you use enough of them, they might even work for diarrhea

According to a not-so-clear-eyed report on portal mfor.hu, Vajai (right) was moved to create the Allergofilter by the plight of allergy sufferers, and worked eight long years to perfect his invention. Though he had no previous experience in the medical field - what a shocker - he had apparently already won awards for other inventions, including one involving a "painting process using magnetic fields." He was also assisted in his pioneering nose-filtering work by some ear-nose-throat specialists at an unidentified Szeged Clinic. The Allergofilter is just the latest in a long line of important breakthroughs in medical technology invented by lone Hungarians working outside of normal research channels, and may be the most promising since Zoltán Bíró's remarkable life-saving toilet seat, at least in the laughs department.
Building on an investment of around Ft 20 million (€75,000) - which, curiously, did not involve a grant from the Hungarian state - Vajai began marketing Allergofilter in Hungary this April. In the months since the product has apparently proved so successful that companies from Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and England have expressed interest in it.
According to Vajai, the biggest advantage of the Allergofilter is that "it does not possess any side effects." Which may be true - assuming, of course, that no one who isn't as stupid and gullible as you knows you are using it.
And if you use enough of them, they might even work for diarrhea
