President Bush Defies Reality by Riding Metro 4

"They'll greet us as liberators," and "Iraq is making progress," are both quotes from American President George W. Bush that seem to show a disconnect between him and reality. Well, the American president has outdone himself - and Hungarians - by not just saying something devoid of truth, but doing the impossible: riding the escalator for the Bocskai tér station of Metro 4. What makes this so extraordinary? The damn thing hasn't been built yet.

The picture above has not been retouched and was taken from Metro 4's official site. It shows the president, First Lady Laura Bush and former Secretary of State Colin Powell all descending on the escalator to the Metro 4 platform. A sharp-eyed employee of the site PC World was the first to notice this impossible occurrence, no doubt meant as an "easter egg" for those visiting the site.

Unlike current American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's stay in Budapest last year, this "visit" was not accidentally hilarious.
