To Do: Chill Out at the Ice Garden

It's not just the odd flash storm or cold fröccs on the beach that can ease the pain of a scorching summer day. Relief is also on hand in the form of Jégkert, an outdoor drinking establishment so cool it's chilled. Readers who were around last year may remember Jégkert, the converted ice rink that proved very popular with the hard-drinking school holiday crowd, but also with casual Buda drinkers with nowhere better to go. All that said, it failed to live up to the "Ice Garden" moniker, due to the fact that the rink was exposed to non-stop August sunshine during the day, making the underfoot cooling unsustainable. Awesomely, this year, the tent has been left on to keep you cooler than a thousand kisfröcses. Woohoo!!
