Yes, it's that time of the year again. With the winter finally past, and spring fully sprung, all of Budapest's finer residents will now be looking forward to a May full of strolls in the park, and other wholesome outdoor activities. Everyone else is counting the days until Iguana Bar & Grill opens the giant can of whoop-ass that is its annual Cinco de Mayo Street Party.

There is little reason to believe that this year's CDMSP - which takes place on Saturday, May 6 - will be any less outrageous than last year's shocking drink-down, and, given the harshness of the winter, will probably be even more over-the-top. All that said, it's still a great place to bring the family and kids - at least until the mescal kicks in - and we'd proudly plug it even without the promise of free drinks and an ambulance to get us home.
