Gay News (II): Meet Me at the Red Mill

Longtime denizens of the local nightlife scene know that two of the major missing elements in town are a) interesting gay-oriented options; and b) something worthy of the sumptuous Moulin Rouge on Budapest's "Broadway." We are happy to report today that there is a tantalizing possibility that both points may have been addressed, starting with this Saturday's "Kinky: Gay, Dance, Divas & Disasters." While the event hasn't gotten much publicity - the biggest queen we know hadn't hear of it - KGDDD would seem to have everything, from "The Angels of Operetta" (Dóra Szinetár, Kata Janza, Mara Kék-Kovács and Ágota Siménfalvy) performing songs from the musical "ABBA Mamma mia" to go-go dancers imported from Vienna and several DJs. Best of all, this may only be the beginning, as we hear this weekend's 'do is to be the first of a regular series of related parties that will take place on the first Saturday of every month. Meow.
