Girls Gone Wild (I): Hungarian Lasses World’s Most Aggressive

In a story so shocking and disturbing we are praying to Almighty God that it is actually true, Hungarian tabloid Blikk is reporting that British tabloid The Sun is reporting that a study has identified Hungarian schoolgirls as the world’s most aggressive. Yes, we know that basing a report on a serious sociological problem on a dodgy Hungarian tabloid’s reading of an even dodgier UK tabloid is double-dodgy at best. But sometimes prayers do come true.

The study, which was also picked up in the less tabloidy Scottish Daily Record, seems to have been conducted by the United Nations, and drew on data from 35 developed countries. Hungary came in “first” place, with every third Hungarian schoolgirl between the ages of 11 and 15 having gotten into some sort of brawl. Second place went to Estonia, third to Lithuania, and fourth to Belgium, followed by England and Scotland. The study also revealed that while girls are aggressive mostly with their friends and family members, boys are more likely to attack strangers. It does not, however, say how likely such girls are to attack strangers, or how much you’d have to pay them to give you a good thrashing, you twisted fruit.
