Local Hookers to Get Training in Marketing and Advertising

A one-year course in advertising and marketing is being offered to 15 Budapest-based prostitutes, under a novel program being run by the Interest Association of Prostitutes in Hungary (MPEE). According to a report on hirado.hu that we have no reason to doubt is true, the MPEE won a Ft 28 million (€112,000) tender to run the course, which is aimed at helping those who want to retire from the world's oldest profession, but can't think of a new one.

More than two-thirds of the students grew up as wards of the state, and most have never had access to higher education. The oldest is a 42-year-old mother of three. The subjects to be taught were chosen based on requests by the students, most of whom would like to learn foreign languages, IT and business management. According to the chairwoman of the MPEE, advertising and marketing are excellent fields for former prostitutes, a statement we also have no reason to doubt is absolutely true.
