Pestiside Staff: Adrian Courage
Part Hungarian Puli and part British Bulldog, Contributing Editor Adrian Courage (or Courage Adrián as he sometimes calls himself) is a true Euro-mongrel. While classmates spent their summers bugging their parents on the rain-soaked banks of the Thames, Adrian was soaking up the sunshine on the shores of Lake Balaton, honing the language skills passed on to him by his Hungarian mother. After four years at the University of Warwick – a German and business studies degree that included a year discovering the delights of Vienna – Adrian took the plunge into employment at Textbüro Martin Crellin, near Stuttgart. Three years learning the fine art of translation and copywriting later, he returned to his spiritual home, Hungary, in summer 2003 - armed with a wealth of experience and a proven business model. Everyone here has at least one company, and Golden Fish Language Services is Adrian's.
When he is not competing with school kids and cowboys in the cutthroat translation market, Adrian can be found playing soccer, snooker and tennis - or researching Budapest's bars, restaurants and civil unrest for Pestiside and Chew.hu.
Adrian can be contacted via adrian@goldenfish.hu
