Hot Cop Wins Uniform Beauty Contest

The next time you get arrested, make sure to do it in Veszprém, because that's where 23-year-old Hédi (pictured at left - her last name was withheld, no doubt to protect the guilty from themselves) serves as a policewoman. This past weekend Hédi won the first annual Miss Uniformis Beauty Contest, which was held in Budapest, Színes Bulvár Lap reports. The contest was open to all women who work in uniform, and among the contestants were policewomen, border control officers, army trainers, and even a medical X-ray technician. According to the tab, Hédi has wanted to be a cop ever since she was a little girl, even though no one else in her family has worked in law enforcement. Meanwhile, she said her uniform makes her feel "assertive" when she has to deal with lawbreakers, to which we can only respond, "Yes, ma'am!"

Like some other Hungarian beauties (though not all) she is something of a brainiac, and divides her time between police work and the local technical college.

As the new Miss Uniformis, Hédi gets several prizes, but she is most happy about the free plane ticket to any European city. "I'll travel to Spain with my boyfriend," she said. "I've never flown before. But I think we'll wait until the weather here gets worse." Hédi is not afraid of flying and high speeds; her hobby is motorcycling. Meanwhile, the Miss Uniformis contest was not her first beauty competition. "I participated in [law enforcement trade magazine] Zsaru's beauty show last year," she said, which was won by some other lovely, but only by a hair. "Allegedly, I came in second."
