Hungo Poptart Update (I): Linda Ladless in London

Aspiring astronaut Anettka is not the only ambitious Hungarian woman who has found it necessary to go abroad in order to get the respect she feels she deserves. Linda Király has also slipped the surly bonds of Hungary in hopes of blasting her career to the next level. The 22-year-old "Britney Spears of the Carpathian Basin" has been living in London since last fall, working on her new record, and hoping to make it big on the international stage. From what we've heard, everything seems to be going swimmingly for Linda in London - except for with the lads.

Aside from her new record, what has taken Linda to London is a new manager, the same guy who manages Jamelia. Okay, so we don't know who Jamelia is either, but apparently her career is going like gangbusters. The two have also hung out, which may help give the fresh-faced Király a bit of street cred. Meanwhile, Linda recently had the honor of being invited to perform a song from "The Phantom of the Opera" at the movie's premiere in Bangkok, where she got to hobnob with movie star Michael Douglas and grand prix racing legend Michael Schumacher, who both complimented her on her pipes.

As for Linda's boy problem, according to a report on ma.hu it seems to be self-inflicted. To be brief, she simply doesn't have time, instead spending her days running from the gym to singing class and from there to the studio. So even though there are plenty of "applicants" for the position, she doesn't want a serious relationship at the moment. We're all for working hard to get ahead, but this is ridiculous; at Linda's age boys generally don't even want seriously relationships, and when they are not being serious with girls, they usually take no more of a girl's time than the length of your average pop song.
