Police Find Classical Beauty in Savage Chinese Axe Murder

A 38-year-old Hungarian woman owing her Chinese boss several million forints dealt with her debt problem Raskolnikov-style on Wednesday. According to Blikk, she admitted to "luring" her Chinese boss into her IX district Távíró utca apartment, before striking him several times in the head with an axe. As if this were not enough, she then dragged the body down five flights of stairs, before tossing it into the basement, dousing it in gasoline and setting it on fire.
Inevitably, the smoke attracted the attention of the woman's nosey neighbors, who called the Budapest fire brigade, who, in turn, alerted the police. According to state news agency MTI, police bragged that they arrested the woman after "an investigation of classical beauty." Good work, but the profession of the perpetrator, and the victim for that matter, are still unknown. Pull your finger out, Colombo. - Esther Holbrook
