"Monster" Hollywood Babes Corner Local Hipster Hangout

While it seems like ages since Hungary hosted a proper Hollywood film production, Budapest is apparently still on the radar for some of Tinseltown's hottest talent. From local filmmaker-raconteur Scott Alexander Young we get word of a double starlet sighting so blinding in its intensity we are tempted to believe it was only a dream. According to Young, Charlize Theron, who took home this year's Best Actress Oscar for her harrowing portrayal of a female killer in "Monster," was sampling the pálinka at Sark on Friday night, accompanied by a crew that included Kristanna Loken, the gorgeous terminatrix from last year's Arnold Schwarzenegger hit "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."

Accompanying the glamorous gazelle from the South African Transvaal and the equally-hot Loken (left) was pint-sized comic actor Seth Green (below, right), best known for his portrayal of Dr. Evil's son Scott in the "Austin Powers" series.

Theron was apparently in Budapest on a break from filming in Berlin, where where she is working opposite Hungo/Kiwi (and unwitting Hungarian teacher) Marton Csokas on a live action version of the animated series "Aeon Flux." Young says Theron is "excruciatingly good looking in person and seemed, as they say, 'very nice'."

"Aeon Flux," if you haven't heard, is about a future world where humans have been forced to live in a protective bubble. Theron is getting a reported $10 million to star as the title character, an acrobatic super-heroine, and made headlines after suffering a serious neck injury during filming of the Paramount/Lakeshore Entertainment production. Despite all this star-power, according to Young, few of the local hipsters and glam queens in the small corner bar - whose name means "corner" - recognized the astral bodies in their midst, which no doubt allowed Theron and co. to enjoy themselves all the more. "Charlize played foosball and bought shots for her posse, Kristanna hit the dance floor, and the diminutive Green hovered about, scoping the babes from their navels up, from underneath a $100 beano."

Now, if only we can get them to come back and actually make a movie here...
